I originally entered university as a business student with absolutely zero clue on what I wanted to do post-graduation. At the time, I was too busy figuring out which dining hall had the best food and mapping out the most efficient walking route between classes.

My relationship with design soft launched when I took a photography course in my second year. I gradually fell in love with the creative process of picking up a camera, snapping a photo, and post-editing with Lightroom + Photoshop. In particular, I found the workflow of post-editing somewhat addicting.

I took on more design classes and eventually decided to declare a Communication Design minor. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to intern in creative roles during university, which further cemented my desire to pursue a career in design.

Fast forward to now, I’ve had the pleasure of working post-graduation as a graphic/branding designer for 2 years, and I am looking forward to any future opportunities that will help grow and hone my current abilities. I have since added more skills to my toolkit, and I hope to carry over my skillset to support the next role I am fortunate enough to take on.
